We cannot speak high enough about the treatment our daughter has received since being diagnosed with breast cancer. From the surgeons, breast cancer nurses, oncology team (doctors and nurses) social worker’s. Everyone has been professional, helpful, friendly, compassionate, empathetic and cheerful. As a team, I cannot fault them in their treatment. I am eternally grateful for their kindness.

Not only did they sort out the immediate problem but found another serious problem l had no knowledge off. Thanks to there dedication l now have a chance fixing, and overcoming the illness. I can't say enough about the nursing staff, they showed kindness and genuine care to all patents, nothing was too much trouble, everyone l had contact with acted with great professionalism, from the doctors to the cleaners. Thank you one and all.

Had to spend a morning in Ipswich hospital today in a lot of pain. I just have to send a thank you and compliment the staff. What an amazing team you deserve way better than you are being paid. You were all so friendly and caring, a highly proffesional team, even though you were being unfairly abused by so called patients. To the entitled ' Patients' who were suposedly in sooo much pain you couldn't wait for attention and accused the staff of ignoring you that you threw vomit bags and blankets at them. But could ask for a ciggarette and could storm out the door upright and obviosly not in pain. Get a reality check, You are NOT that important and these staff should not have to put up with trash like you!

I had to have emergency surgery here due to a ruptured peptic ulcer and honestly can’t fault the ambulance drivers, the doctors, the nurses and anyone I encountered. An ambulance arrived at our house quickly and took me to Ipswich Hospital, after having an examination and then a CT scan they found the ulcer. This was at roughly 6pm, it took a little to get the results but I ended up having emergency surgery at 12am. For someone who has chronic illness and has been at a fair few hospitals I can’t fault them, I was seen quickly, action was taken quickly and follow up in the ward was good. One of the doctors didn’t have great bedside manner but unfortunately that happens. The physio in hospital was good and due to my week stay here I am now also linked with other parts of West Moreton health which I appreciate. For what the nurses/ doctors and support staff go through I think this hospital is doing quite well. Unfortunately you are always going to get negative reviews which occurs regardless but from my stand point they literally saved my life. I can’t speak for other areas of the hospital apart from the surgical ward and emergency but my experience was positive

Top notch care all round at the Ipswich Hospital, 2022 and 2026 after breaking my hips. Consistant kindness across all departments. Highly skilled at what they do, along with such great knowledge. If someone doesn’t know something, they will find the answer for you. I witnessed a lot of education being given on the job. They also demonstrate such tolerance and patience to a lot of rude demanding entitled patients I have witnessed on both of these trips. Careful people ,you may lose this team of talent to Springield Public when it opens.

A huge thank you to the staff at Ipswich hospital. I was very well looked after and very impressed and gratified by the level of investigation by the doctors and radiology staff. The nurses are caring and attentive. Again, thank you all.

My daughter recently gave birth to her daughter in the labour ward. I can not express how grateful I am for the considerate, caring attentive team that evening! From start to finish the midwives, Nurses and Doctors were unbelievable! My daughter was never left alone and constantly cared for and reasured. Thank you to Zoe, Lucy and Fatuma you made a difficult often scary process much easier. Could not recommend highly enough!

Always have received excellent care for myself and my kids. The fun scrubs make for a welcome distraction which is what you need when making a trip to emergency, especially with children. The staff are friendly, cheerful and empathetic. No complaints from me!

The nurses, doctors and wardies. Amazing. While I was waiting with the ambos my blood pressure did drop low and bleeding an insane amount. A doctor came straight away. I was in a bad way after having a miscarriage. The care I received was honeslty amazing. Everyone was so nice even though I was in so much pain, I did swear but not at them. And they were so so so nice. I can't fault. I've waited in the emergency room Before many of times and yes it isn't the nicest but its not the staff its the people waiting, Staff/nurses/doctors do the best they can. When its busy they do the best they can. People complain because its so busy but if your in there because you hurt your toe. YOU ARE THE REASON ITS BUSY. Go home susan and see your gp. They are there to look after us, the least people can do is have some respect and wait it out. Ipswich hospital ain't that bad yall. Its doesn't cost to be kind. And also if you are waiting in the emergency room or anywhere really, keep it clean the reason its dirty and smells funky sometimes is because of the patients that walk in there. I've seen it clean and ive seen it dirty. It isnt the cleaners fault. And wear dam shoes and deodorant people, jesus. But the hospital overall, great, amazing. You need more credit. You're doing a great job ✌️
